Foundation Management, Inc. (FMI) was formed in October 2000 by Frank W. Merrick. The knowledge Merrick acquired as a trust officer, profesional development officer and director of his own family foundation equipped him with the perspective needed to assist others in thier philanthropic goals.

Foundation Management Inc. began with one staff member and one client. Since that time, FMI has expanded its services to include nonprofit consulting, management of a statewide community foundation, a public trust and a charitable trust. Today, FMI serves 14 foundation management clients, over 250 nonprofit consulting clients and maintains a staff of ten.
