The Philip Boyle Foundation

History
The Philip Boyle Foundation was established in 1989 by Philip Boyle. The Foundation received an infusion of capital at Philip’s death in 2000.  The current trustees are managing the Foundation to honor the philanthropic legacy of the founder.

Major accomplishments to date are the building of the Philip Boyle Tree House at the Oklahoma City Zoo, support for the University of Oklahoma Geology Field Camp, establishing the Philip Boyle Scholarship at the University of Oklahoma, Center for Children and Families, Inc., Regional Food Bank and the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma County.

Mission Statement
The mission of The Philip Boyle Foundation is to carry on the legacy of Philip Boyle’s philanthropy.  Philip was a civic leader in Oklahoma City involved with many organizations over his lifetime. The Trustees are dedicated to following  Philip’s example and to continue his efforts. The Foundation will support charities that operate in Central Oklahoma and that make a difference in the quality of life of all who are served.

Application Process 
The Trustees invite proposals from 501(c)(3) organizations that are located in Central Oklahoma.  An online grant application summarizing the project(s) for funding must be submitted. The Trustees will meet and review all grant applications received by the deadline date and  will notify each applicant of their granting decisions. 

Preference will be given to the following:
Organizations in Norman, OK
