The Shaw Family Foundation
History
The Shaw Family Foundation was created in June 2011 by Richard C. Shaw and his three sons; James Shaw, Robert Shaw and John Shaw.
Foundation Mission
The mission of The Shaw Family Foundation is to carry on the philanthropic legacy of Richard C. Shaw and Ruth J. Shaw.
Application Guidelines
The Foundation intends to support 501(c)(3) organizations in South Central Kansas benefitting social services, arts and the Kansas University Endowment Association, to include the School of Medicine –Wichita and the College Liberal Arts.
Preference will be given to the following organizations:
First Presbyterian Church of Wichita
Eastminster Presbyterian Church of Wichita
Wichita Children’s Home
Music Theatre of Wichita
Wichita Symphony Orchestra
Salvation Army of Wichita
Wichita Art Museum
